What is the cost?
For the Accent/Holiday Lighting System, prices range from $22-32 per foot plus the cost of the controller. Prices vary within that range depending on size, complexity, and other factors.
Most residential projects will be between $3000-$5000.
Patio Light prices range from $400-450 per 20ft.
Landscape lights start at $250/light.
What’s the difference between Jellyfish and other products?
The short answer is a lot!
Lion Low Voltage (LLV) is an authorized dealer of Jellyfish Lighting. Our company entered the permanent lighting industry in 2020 as an EverLights Dealer. After encountering significant issues with that product over four years of installations (see pictures below), we decided to switch to Jellyfish Lighting as the best product in the industry.
Here’s why Jellyfish stands out: it is the brightest, most reliable, extensively tested, customizable, and durable lighting solution on the market. Many competing products are actually “knock-offs” of Jellyfish designs, often sourced from China. These alternatives tend to be unreliable, cheaply made, and lack the customization options of Jellyfish.
Here is a list of features that make Jellyfish products stand out:
- Redundant data. Because of an extra wire run to each light, if one of your lights goes out, everything after that does not go out with it.
- Manual control of the system from the controller. This is helpful for clients who do not want to deal with the intricacies of an app!
- Eave Light, Patio lights, and Landscape lighting. Each product is compatible with the same controller and app to create an ecosystem of light on your property.
- Integration with Alexa, Google Home, and Control4. Other light manufacturers do not have the capability of smart home automation.
- Security. Jellyfish lights can be turned on with motion detection using Ring Cameras.
- Individually Addressable Lights. Every single light on your property is programmable within the app–even if you have thousands of lights!
- IP67 waterproof rating. Jellyfish lights are water and dust resistant.
- UL Listed/Approved. A UL-listed device is a manufactured product that meets specific safety standards after undergoing rigorous testing. Many manufacturers have not tested their lights.
How is the system installed?
Our Holiday/Accent Lights clip into a color-matched track that is fastened to your building’s soffit or flashing (see picture below).
For stucco soffit, the track is fastened using long screws, or a “double track” is used for completely hidden screws (see picture).

The controller is typically mounted in the garage but can be mounted outside if needed.
Wiring between the lights is mostly run through the attic to hide and protect the wires.

Can I add later?
Yes! LLV will wire your system in case you ever wanted to add on in the future.
Can you do warm white?
Yes! You can choose or make your own color temperature to match existing fixtures. Presets available for 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K.
What sort of maintenance is required?
No lighting system is completely foolproof; all electronics need some level of maintenance and troubleshooting.
Fortunately, with our product, lighting issues are quite rare. In fact, an average of fewer than 5% of installations will require any service or maintenance, and most issues are usually limited to a single light going out.
Most lighting problems typically occur within the first year after installation, which is why we provide a 1-year service coverage to address any potential issues!
What is the warranty/service coverage?
For all products, LLV offers a 1-year service coverage (covers labor and parts).
The Holiday/Accent Lights include a 5-year parts warranty while the Landscape Lights and Patio Lights include a 3-year parts warranty.
Service after the first year of installation is $100/hour with an hour and a half minimum.
How long does installation take?
Average installation speed is 150 feet per day, subject to the complexity of the project. Most jobs can be completed in one day!
How long does the system last?
The Jellyfish System is rated to last around 15 years with everyday use, or 20 years with less-frequent use.
Can the lights be used for security?
Absolutely! This is one of the most popular features of the Jellyfish system!
For example, Jellyfish lights can synchronize with your Ring Camera to turn on when motion is detected.
How many different colors and patterns can you do?
Infinite! The RGB lights can produce over 16 million different colors, and each individual light is programmable in the app. The app has over 100 preset patterns to choose from, plus you can design your own unique combinations!
Do the lights have Smarthome integration?
Yes! The Jellyfish System can be linked with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Connect4 home automation.
Can I make my own patterns?
Yes, you can. The lights are individually addressable which allows you to choose which lights you want on and what color (over 16 million different colors). We also have over 100 preset patterns.
Can I set a light schedule?
Yes, you can save multiple nightly & weekly timers as well as pre-set calendar events for holidays and other special occasions. The lights are linked with weather.com so you can also link with sunset to sunrise.
How much electricity does the system use?
The lights at full bright white use less than 1 Watt per bulb, so with an accent lighting program you can power your whole home for under 60 Watts.
Can the lights be installed on a commercial property?
Absolutely! Our lights draw more traffic and attention to any business, and our product has specific tracks that can be tailored to any kind of building. (see examples below)

Can separate areas of my house have different lighting effects?
Yes! The lights have zones, allowing you to customize different areas of your house with different designs at the same time.
